Advanced Vein Center (AVC)
Advanced Vein Center is a full service, state-of-the-art vein treatment center located in Portland, Maine. Since AVC is both a medical and laser facility, we can offer you the most advanced, out-patient treatment services for all types of varicose veins or spider veins.
AVC is unique because we specialize in venous procedures. Vein doctors, registered vein technicians and registered diagnostic medical sonographers (ultrasound) work together to provide you with an unparalleled specialist team for vein treatments and management.
The vein center offers you a complete range of treatment options that include cutting edge and innovative technology choices such as light assisted sclerotherapy, ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy, microsurgery, endovenous laser ablation (EVLT uses a high frequency laser) or endovenous radiofrequency ablation (VNUS Closure® uses a high frequency radiowave).
